A Level Results 2024
Pupils at Chase High Sixth Form are off to their first choice of university thanks to a top batch of A-level results.
Year 13 students collected their A-level results yesterday after the summer's exams.
A total of 70% of students have secured their first choice of university for the next step of their education journey.
Sixth formers are looking to study a range of subjects, including:
- Mivuyo Lutho Mpepi studying criminology or law
- George Cockerill studying history and politics
- Daniel Que studying cyber security
- Luca Langosco Di Langosco studying politics
- Jesamine Noble studying creative writing
- Lily Rose Mlotshwa studying accounting and finance
Other peers are moving on to a range of next steps, including a degree apprenticeship in engineering, veterinary studies and apprenticeships in finance and marketing.
Among the top achieving students this summer are:
- Scarlet Jansen, who secured a Triple Distinction in games development, Distinction* in applied science, A in financial studies
- Melisa Marku, who achieved Double Distinction in business studies, Distinction in health and social care and C in sociology
- Lily Rose Mlotshwa, who achieved Double Distinction in business studies and Merit in health and social care
- Jesamine Noble, who secured Double Distinction in media studies and C in English literature
- Harvey Dove, who achieved Double Distinction in games development
- Sven Krsnik, who picked up Distinction Merit in sports studies and Double Merit in business studies
- Fletcher Marsh, who achieved Double Distinction in media studies and C in photography
- Liam Tindley, who secured Double Distinction* and Distinction in media studies and B in photography
- Afifa Hasan, who picked up Double Distinction in business studies and an A in financial studies
- Rowan Taylor, who achieved Grade A in maths and history.
Emma Mulford, head of sixth form, said: "I am immensely proud of all of our students who have received their results. Their success is a testament to their hard work, determination and resilience.
"As a school, we celebrate progress as well as attainment and I'm thoroughly excited to see them flourish on the next stage of their journey."
